IFMA signing Strategic Partnership Agreement with Macau Institute of Management



International Facility Management Association (IFMA) and Macau Institute of Management (MIM) had signed a Strategy Partnership Agreement at the Military Club in Macau today. The ceremony was officiated by Mr. Graham Tier - Global Chair of IFMA and Mr. Paul Tse - Chairman of MIM. Representatives from both private and public sectors in Macau showed their strong support. Senior executives from all gaming operators, utilities, Bureaus of Macau SAR Government and local medias came to celebrate together. This big day was also attended by Ms. Jenny Yeung - Director of IFMA Asian Advisory Board, Mr. Samson Lee – IFMA Foundation Trustee and Founding Member of IFMA Foundation Hong Kong, and Ms. Ingrid Wong – CEO of IFMA China.

IFMA is driving the frontier of professional development in Asia and shape the profile of FM to world class level:

· Macau SAR Government and the Guangdong Provincial Government have signed an agreement with MIM to jointly provide "One Exam, Three Certificates" training to the public in Macau and China, where participants will receive Essential of Facility Management Certificate (EoFM) from IFMA, and regional and national qualifications from the two Governments.

· New ISO FM standards announced in 2018

· IFMA FM Training and Development Framework announced in 2019

In a near future, new IFMA Chapters will be established in Macau, Jiangmen and Zhuhai. Asian Chapters will join forces to drive FM innovation in the region, unite the industry, and provide global professional connection platform in the Greater Bay Area.
