FMA’s Guided Tour to EMSD Headquarters & Kai Tak District Cooling System - organised by #YoungProfessional and #StudentChapter
This is one of the winning projects in IFMA’s Asia Pacific Facility Management Awards 2018 Asia Pacific Best Occupational Health and Safety Award - Certificate of Excellence First and biggest district cooling system in Hong Kong.
The development in Kowloon consists of commercial offices, retail, offices for government departments, transport infrastructure, community buildings, hotels and both public and private housing. With a cooling capacity of 284MW, it is expected to reduce electricity consumption and carbon emission by approximately 35% compared to a conventional air-cooled method.
