Sidney So is currently the Treasurer (2024-2025) of the Chapter. He was elected as Treasurer for the term 2021-2022 and Vice President (2022-2023, 2023-2024)
Sidney So is currently the General Manager of Savills Guardian. He worked for Savills Guardian over 23 years with extensive experiences in various building including residential, commercial, industrial, shopping center, office building and Government facilities. Currently, he leading a team with over 350 direct staff to provide property and facility management for a prestige government office building in Central district.
Sidney holds a Master of Science in Facility Management from The HK Polytechnic University, Master of Science in Financial Management from University of London, Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Economics with honors and Professional Diploma in Housing Management from The University of HK.
Sidney taken the role as IFMA Hong Kong Chapter’s Committee Member from 2019 and Conference OC member in 2020 and 2021. He was also elected as Treasurer in 2021. He is currently a member of IFMA Hong Kong Chapter, Chartered Institute of Housing and The Hong Kong Institute of Housing. He served the professional institution as a co-opted member of Chartered Institute of Housing Asian Pacific Branch holding a position of Chair of Activities Committee. He is appointed as Assessor for the Recognition of Prior Learning Scheme and external examiner of PMSA Specified course by Vocational Training Council.
