WIRE: Strengthen your career and the future of FM

You are invited to participate in the IFMA's Competency Model Survey. This is a global study to identify and update the critical tasks and work activities of facility management (FM) professionals, the context in which those tasks and activities are carried out, and the knowledge and skills required to succeed in the built environment.

Your participation will inform the blueprint of the disciplines that form the facility management (FM) body of knowledge for facility managers across the span of their careers. The output will result in a Dynamic Competency Model for facility practitioners, by facility practitioners.

It will take approximately 45 to 75 minutes to complete the questionnaire. Your participation in this study is completely voluntary. Your survey responses will be strictly confidential and data from this research will be reported only in the aggregate.

All participants who complete the survey will receive a code for a free IFMA Learning Video, valued at US$30.00.

In addition, participants who complete the survey will be entered into a drawing* to win (1) of the following prizes:

  • One (1) IFMA World Workplace Conference and Expo 2023 Denver USA package
  • One (1) Facility Management Professional™ (FMP®) Credential Program
  • One (1) Sustainability Facility Professional® (SFP®) Credential Program
